I was reading top news stories on MSN.com and stumbled upon this title:
Amazon sells “Pedophile‘s Guide.” Assuming that it was just the media overreacting about the content in a book, I thought I’d read the article and see what was so terrible that Amazon shouldn’t be selling it.
Apparently there is actually a self-published book by Philip R. Greaves II entitled The Pedophile’s Guide to Love and Pleasure: A Child-Lover’s Code of Conduct. What’s even sicker is the content within the book.
Instead of teaching pedophiles to deal with their sick urges or whatever, this book is about how not to “actually” abuse the child involved and treat them lovingly during the entire encounter. I kid you not!
There are literally hundreds of negative reviews about this book and directly towards Amazon.com itself for offering such a disgusting and immoral title.
Here comes the most appalling part: This book is ranked as #5,668 in the bestselling books on the Kindle. Seriously? Out of the hundreds of thousands of books offered on the Kindle online, this one ranks that high?
Parents, lock your children up. With sick freaks out there in the world like this Greaves guy, how can we feel safe raising our children. To further the rage this should instill within you, read this quote:
“This is my attempt to make pedophile situations safer for those juveniles that find themselves involved in them, by establishing certian rules for these adults to follow. I hope to achieve this by appealing to the better nature of pedosexuals, with hope that their doing so will result in less hatred and perhaps lighter sentences should they ever be caught.”
How inappropriate of Amazon to sell such material. They claim that it would be censorship not to sell this book. Amazon, unfortunately, has the right to sell whatever materials they like as long as they’re legal and this book is covered under the First Amendment.
Another book on the same subject entitled Understanding Loved Boys and Boylovers by David L. Riegel is also available on Amazon.
I believe in the strength of the first Amendment. I am a writer and without its existence I may have been in trouble many times. However, this crossed the line. I believe an individual is free to do whatever he or she chooses as long as that act does not directly affect others, especially children!
I issue this challenge to all of you and I hope you will all stand with me on this issue:
Until these books are removed, I will not be found on Amazon.com again. I implore you to boycott their website along with me. Let’s show Amazon that our morality is far more valuable than the money they have saved us in the past.
For those of you who won’t stand for this and will boycott Amazon.com with me, my thanks in advance.

P.S. This is a picture of my daughter. She just turned 1 this month. Boycott Amazon for her safety and the safety of children around the world just like her. They deserve our protection. They are God‘s gift to this world. They are His greatest gift to this world.
